CCIQ Pulse Survey of Business Conditions Update RESULTS 30 July 2010
The Commonwealth Bank and Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland
Pulse Survey of Business Conditions for the June quarter results.
This quarter has seen a dramatic downturn in business confidence and conditions
at both a State and National level with all indicators falling sharply. This confirms
fears from the last quarter that the Queensland and Australian economies may
not yet be clear of the effects of the global economic uncertainty and outlook.

CCIQ proposes radical solution to determining government costs.
It is troubling to see such burden placed on business who have been the pillar
of strength in helping Queensland withstand the Global Financial Crisis and
doing all that is humanly possible to keep staff on even when revenue did
not necessarily warrant doing so.
