Milton Tennis Centre - 1904-1999 Qld Lawn Tennis Assoc owned most of the
site. The Centre had 19 hard courts + 4 grass courts with seating for 7,000
spectators. Hosting Davis Cups and Australian Opens with players such as
Tony Roche, Lew Hoad, John Newcombe, Neal Fraser, Roy Emerson, Rod Laver, Wally Masur, Lindsay Davenport, John Fitzgerald, , Ken Rosewall,
Fred Stolle, Panch Segura, Evonne Goolagong, Pam Shriver & Navratilova
Milton Bowl - 1962-2008 A city icon with its popular Alley Bar was a popular
outing for families and groups
The Milton Centre also hosted concerts - the Rolling Stones, Elton John,
Johnny Cash, David Cassidy, Johnny O'Keefe, Deep Purple ...
